TYLER, Texas ( KLTV /Gray News) - A Veterans Day flag display and a church in Texas were vandalized Thursday night, leading to one man’s arrest.
According to the Smith County Sheriff’s Office, 48-year-old Timothy Myers Poole, of Tyler, tore flags down at a Veterans Day display near the W. T. Brookshire Conference Center.
Poole also allegedly vandalized Lakewood Church in Flint.

According to the sheriff’s office, Poole shattered the glass on the front door of Lakewood Church by throwing a concrete piece, similar to a septic tank lid, at it.
Deputies searched the church, but initially found no one inside.
A church representative later arrived at the church and showed officers video of the incid
