We'll start to feel a much cooler airmass filtering in tonight, carried on breezy northwesterly winds. We'll be monitoring the transition closely as temperatures drop from the upper 40s to low 50s this evening, down into the 30s overnight.
Looking ahead to Sunday, expect a dry day but it will be notably cooler – about 15 to 20 degrees lower than today! With plenty of sunshine, highs will be more typical for this time of year, likely topping out in the upper 40s to around 50°F. While it will be calm and pleasant, we do have a concern for an increased threat of wildfire spread. This is due to the continued breezy conditions, with gusts potentially reaching 25 mph, combined with very low dewpoints that will send relative humidity levels down into the 25-30% range.
