GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Toast Nebraska is hosting its annual holiday wine festival, bringing together 22 different vineyards from across Nebraska to showcase their wines for sampling and purchase ahead of the holidays.

“It’s a great meeting spot for us in the central part of Nebraska where wineries come from all over the state and showcase the wines that they have in their portfolio,” said Renae Littrell, executive director of the Nebraska Wine Growers Association.

Vineyards showcase unique histories

Some vineyards draw their character from their location’s history. Nissen Vineyard, located in Harrington along Nebraska’s northern border, incorporates the area’s past into its identity.
