In the wake of the November 10 Delhi blast, Faridabad Police has stepped up verification drives across the jurisdictions of all its stations. Police personnel have been pressed into action to verify tenants, check fertiliser and seed shops, religious places, OYO hotels/lodges, and to monitor individuals buying and selling old vehicles, as well as residents from Jammu and Kashmir, officers said.
“Since Tuesday, around 140 religious places, 1,700 tenants, 40 fertiliser and seed shops, around 200 guest houses, hotels and OYO lodges, as well as 100-odd people involved in buying and selling old vehicles have been checked,” a police spokesperson said.
