When artist Ariana Enriquez thinks of her mother, sunflowers come to mind. Her mother has encouraged her daughter to pursue her love of art since Ariana was in high school. Enriquez went on to complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a Master’s in Art History from ASU.

Her first solo art exhibition was held in October at the Gallery at the Chandler Center for the Arts. The exhibition was titled “Con Carino Siempre” (With Love Always) and was a personal tribute to her family. Pieces of art honored special family members while showcasing her different art styles. From small paintings that can be hung in a living room, to large 3D sculptures suited for art galleries, to murals painted on commercial buildings and walls, her exhibition showcased her many talents as an artist.
