Cardinal O’Hara checked off another box Saturday afternoon at the Northeast Supersite.
The Lions rolled past West Philadelphia, 34-7, to win the District 12 Class 4A title and punch their ticket to the state quarterfinals for the first time in program history.
O’Hara (9-4) will take on unbeaten District 2 champ North Pocono, a 40-36 winner over District 1’s Bishop Shanahan, in next week’s PIAA 4A quarterfinals. The date, site and time are to be announced.
