2 Section III girls volleyball teams advance to state pool play; 3 squads bow out in regionals

Two Section III squads punched their tickets to the New York State championship pool play next weekend. Three other teams, however, weren’t as lucky.

Weedsport (D) and Westhill (B) captured regional titles on Saturday. Homer (A), West Genesee (AAA) and LaFayette (C) all bowed out of the state tournament.
