JONESBORO — Clayton County leaders are looking to expand housing options and a key component is its recently-unveiled Housing Plan.

The Clayton County Board of Commissioners and Atlanta Regional Commission unveiled the Housing Plan initiative Thursday, Nov. 6 during a press conference in Jonesboro.

The plan consists of important parts — the Housing Plan Vision, the Housing Task Force, Planning and Zoning and Housing Programs and Assistance.

“This is a pivotal moment here in Clayton County, and this is a chance for all of us to continue to work together to move Clayton Forward,” said Clayton County BOC Chair Alieka Anderson-Henry.
