BOONVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — Tri-State Fit's inaugural Black Annie Trail Race at Scales Lake Park in Boonville is now sold out, with participants set to race on November 16 at 1 p.m.
Racers can choose between a 5K, 10K, or 15K. Each loop is approximately a 5K in distance, and participants can do one, two, or three laps. Due to heavy rains a few weeks back, the original course has been changed due to a major washout on the trail, making the distance now 3.35 miles per lap with an elevation gain of 274 feet. It is recommended to wear trail shoes as the hills could be slick, but they are not required.
Race day check-in will be at the race location from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. For those unable to attend early bib pick-up at Ultimate Fit on Friday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., check-in will also be availab
