Lucas Raymond scored the tiebreaking goal with 3:47 remaining in the third period and the visiting Detroit Red Wings overcame a stellar performance by Jonathan Quick to earn a 2-1 victory over the New York Rangers on Sunday night.

Raymond had a goal and an assist after getting three assists Saturday, when Detroit blew a three-goal lead in an overtime loss to the Buffalo Sabres.

Raymond snapped a 1-1 tie by weaving his way through the offensive zone after New York's Alexis Lafreniere lost the puck to Moritz Seider near the neutral zone. Seider stole the puck, fed Dylan Larkin and Raymond gained possession as he crossed the blue line.
