Imphal, November 15 2025: The District Administration, Imphal East, successfully organised the celebration of Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas today at Keikhu Kabui Khul, highlighting the rich cultural heritage, identity, and contributions of tribal communities to the Nation.

As per release issued by Deputy Commissioner Imphal East, the event was held in commemoration of the birth anniversary of the iconic tribal freedom fighter Bhagwan Birsa Munda, whose courageous struggle and sacrifice continue to inspire generations across India.

The programme was attended by Dr Nivedita Lairenlakpam, DC.
