WEST FARGO — As civic and volunteer organizations, such as downtown business groups, veterans' groups and the city's newest nonprofit, Civic West, have planted roots in West Fargo, the West Fargo Exchange Club remains strong as one of the oldest and largest volunteer and civic organizations in the city.

The more than 50-year-old Exchange Club was founded in 1973 and has long been a pillar of the community, recognized for its awards to community members who contribute tirelessly to West Fargo through volunteering and other organized efforts, as well as to students who excel in and outside their schools.
