Akasa Air has announced it will launch operations from the soon-to-open Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), on December 25, 2025 with its first flight operating between Delhi and Mumbai's second airport.
Scheduled services from Navi Mumbai to Goa will also begin the same day, followed by routes to Delhi and Kochi from December 26, and Ahmedabad from December 31, 2025. Tickets are available via Akasa Air’s website, mobile app and leading travel agents.
The move is a significant milestone for India’s fastest-growing airline and for India’s evolving aviation landscape. Akasa Air becomes one of the first carriers to commence operations from NMIA, highlighting what the airline describes as its long-term strategy to build a “future-ready network”.
