Kennedy Catholic will compete in the Northern 8 Conference in their second year of 8 man football in 2026.

"Our kids loved the first year and we had a good response from our players," said Kennedy Catholic President Joe Kenneally.

The Eagles finished 2-6 in their transition year after losing 15 straight games from 2023 & 2024.

The Eagles join other local programs, Sebring and Chalker in the league. The other programs are from the western part of Ohio including, Cardinal Stritch, Danbury, Holgate, Sandusky St. Mary, Fremont St. Joseph, & Stryker.

"We feel its good for our school and we can wait until next year," concluded Kenneally.
