A strong cold wave has gripped Odisha, bringing a noticeable drop in temperatures across both interior and coastal regions. The chilly conditions are being driven by icy north-westerly winds blowing in from northern India, creating a winter-like atmosphere much earlier than usual.

Bhubaneswar Records Steady Temperature Fall

For the past three days, Bhubaneswar has witnessed a consistent dip in temperature. Early this morning, at around 5:30 AM, the capital city recorded a minimum temperature of 14.8°C, marking a drop of 1.2°C from November 14, when the minimum was 16°C.

Overall, the city has cooled by nearly 1.5°C in just two days, making mornings noticeably colder for commuters and residents.
