GOODING, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Christmas season is a month away, but here in the Magic Valley, it’s never too early to start giving.
Members of the Jerome Police Department, the Gooding County Sheriff’s Office, the Jerome County Sheriff’s Office, and the Idaho State Police are gearing up for the 5th annual Shop with a Cop.
During the charity event, law enforcement shops with children in need of help, picking out items like food, clothes, and of course, toys.
This year marks the first time the Gooding County Sheriff’s Office will be participating, and Deputy Joshua Lahnum says it’s a great way to give back to the community.
