Search and rescue crews in Georgia continue their search for a missing SMU law professor.
According to the family, Charles Hosch, 67, was last seen on Tuesday while hiking on the Byron Herbert Reece Trail near Blood Mountain in Union County, Georgia.
His daughter told NBC5 crews have been searching the rough terrain since Wednesday.
“They have found indications from some of the K9s of points where my dad was on the trail, which is really hopeful,” said daughter Julia Hosch-Singh. “He is overall just a really reliable, creative, generous, and brilliant man.”
According to the Union County Sheriff’s Office, Hosch was last seen wearing khaki pants, camel color sweater and a dark green jacket.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact the Union County Emergency Operation
