PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State Cougars (5-5) bounced back and crushed the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (5-5), 28-7, through tremendous defense and a pacing offense performance.
Quarterback Zevi Eckhaus tossed a touchdown pass to Joshua Meredith and ran in for two more to help the offense to their largest margin of victory this year.
The Cougs held backup Bulldogs quarterback Evan Bullock to 4/10 passing and 36 yards; Louisiana Tech only managed 60 total passing yards.
Washington State picks up a critical fifth win ahead of a challenging task at the James Madison Dukes (9-1) next weekend in Virginia, kickoff time in Harrisonburg is Saturday at an undetermined time.
