CHENEY, Wash. - On a spirited Senior Night at Roos Field, Eastern Washington put together a complete performance, closing their home schedule with a 27-7 victory over the Northern Colorado Bears.
The Eagles leaned into both offense and an opportunistic defense to send the seniors out with a home win. The Eagles took control early and led the half 20-7.
The sparks came from defense, five interceptions by five different players. Those turnovers killed any momentum the Bears attempted.
EWU put the game away in the third quarter after Kevin Allen III punched in a touchdown to extend the lead by 20 points, and that was the final points on the board.
