The Houston Rockets secured a significant 140-116 win over the Portland Trail Blazers in their second NBA Cup group stage showdown on Friday. With Kevin Durant locked in, along with Alperen Sengun’s elite scoring effort, the team is gaining positive momentum to push for a deep playoff run. Apart from their success, another key member of the Rockets, Fred VanVleet, gained attention sitting off the bench.
The game featured Durant, playing with his excellent scoring ability. He posted 30 points along with three assists and five rebounds. At the same time, Alperen Sengun also stepped in and contributed his crucial 25 points, added nine assists and 10 rebounds, while Amen Thompson scored 19 points.
