A humiliating election loss has set off a full-blown rupture inside Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) patriarch Lalu Prasad Yadav’s family , with senior members blaming Tejashwi Yadav’s core team for the debacle and a private quarrel escalating into an acrid public feud.

According to insiders, tension had been simmering since the results came in. Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi were reportedly upset with how Tejashwi's team functioned through the campaign .
