After a crushing defeat in the Bihar Assembly elections, tensions within the Lalu family have intensified once again over Tejashwi Yadav’s close aide, Sanjay Yadav. Rohini Acharya, Lalu’s second daughter who had once donated a kidney to him, announced her withdrawal from politics and her decision to sever ties with her family.

Accusing Sanjay Yadav and Rameez of exerting undue pressure, Rohini claimed, “If you ask questions, you are abused or beaten with a slipper.”

On Saturday, she had written on X, “I am quitting politics and breaking ties with my family. Sanjay Yadav and Rameez forced me into this, and I am taking full responsibility.”
