Shubman Gill is captain of India’s Test team, but due to a neck injury, he didn’t come out to bat in the second innings of the first Test against South Africa that ended with India’s defeat by 30 runs inside three days. After India suffered a Test defeat against South Africa in India for the first time after more than 15 years, India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir attended the press conference at Eden Gardens, and during the presser, he gave a big update on Gill’s availability for the second match.
