Janshakti Janta Dal (JJD) leader Tej Pratap Yadav on Sunday reacted to his sister Rohini Acharya’s decision to break ties with her family and the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), claiming she was humiliated, verbally abused and even threatened with assault by slippers.

“Yesterday’s incident shook me to the core. What happened to me, I tolerated it… but the insult my sister faced is absolutely unbearable," he said in a statement from the JJD’s Instagram handle. In a warning to what he described as ‘jaichands’ (traitors), he said the people of Bihar will never forgive those who attack families.
