Tulsa's proposed city sales tax vote is a no

It was Wednesday night, a few hours after city councilors had dashed his hopes of having Tulsans go to the polls Feb. 10 to consider increasing the city’s sales tax rate, and Mayor Monroe Nichols was standing in a meeting room inside the Tulsa Performing Arts Center.
