MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Another breezy day is in store as southern Wisconsin remains sandwiched between a deepening low out to the east and building high pressure to the west over the northern Plains. Because of this, we will continue on with a tight pressure gradient over the region, yielding these breezy northwesterly winds around 10-15 mph with wind gusts around 25-30 mph this afternoon.

A cold front swept through the area last night which has helped usher in a much cooler Canadian air mass. This will keep temperatures near normal today with highs in the mid to upper 40s under mostly sunny skies.
