Saturday Night Live was once again new this week with first-time host Glen Powell (The Running Man) taking the lead with musical guest Olivia Dean. The cold open once again stuck with a political theme, this time tackling a White House press briefing.

Ashley Padilla came out as White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, addressing various media members and discussing the newly released emails related to the Epstein files. "As you all know, there was no news this week," she quips to open the press briefing.

Of course, James Austin Johnson as President Donald Trump, taking the podium to attempt to clear things up. "It's kind of hard to square that circle until you realize that Trump exists across many timelines," Johnson said as the president. "It's the Trump Multiverse Theory. We just happen to be living in the worst possible one."

There are no new episodes of SNL for a few weeks, returning on December 6 with Melissa McCarthy hosting for her sixth time. She will be joined by musical guest Dijon.
