A dog was found dead on Sixth Street in Derby.

The pitbull mix was discovered in a men's black suit duffle bag along a building.

The dog was wearing a nylon black collar with a piece of zip tie connected to it.

Derby police are currently investigating, and anyone who has any tips or information is asked to call at 203-924-2501 or call the Derby Police Department at 203-735-7811.
