For years now, many have taken exception to Delta Air Lines' outdated IT, leading to tech issues for passengers . However, in this instance, it seems like its app tech may have been a little too sophisticated, breaching the privacy of its employees, specifically pilots who were ordered to remove an app used by millions.
What made the ban that much more head-scratching for Delta employees was that the order was sent to specific employees rather than being a company-wide requirement. This means that Delta was well aware of who had the app and who didn't.
