Oxford County’s 2026 water and wastewater rates have been approved.

Average households across the county will mostly see smaller increases, while those in Woodstock and Drumbo will experience the largest jump.

At its Nov. 12 meeting, Oxford County council agreed in principle to the 2026 rates, which will be enacted Jan. 1 and officially confirmed Jan. 14 during financial deliberations.

The typical impact for Oxford homeowners will vary from a decrease of $30.48 to an increase of $96.12

“The water rates policy is being amended to reflect the asset management contributions, really tie it into our asset management plan, and making sure we’re targeting those amounts,” Oxford treasurer Carolyn King said.

The rate changes are as follows:

Woodstock, 8.5 percent ($64.08)
