A warning has been issued for UK households with PVC windows as we head deeper into winter. UPVC windows are sturdy and reliable, but they can face issues, according to experts, including draughts and poor insulation.

Experts warn: "Feeling a breeze when your window is shut could indicate a problem with the seals or gaskets." And UK households may see issues with condensation, too.

Experts added: "Excessive moisture between glass panes can point to a failing seal. Understanding minor condensation versus a severe case is key." They said: "Hinges, locks, and handles can wear out over time, causing them to function less smoothly. Oiling or replacing parts can resolve this.
