Luke Littler revealed that he gave himself hell during the break before staging a huge fightback against Josh Rock.

Littler, who was pushed all the way by Rock at the World Matchplay in July, found himself in familiar territory when trailing 9-6 at the break.

But after a short opportunity to gather his thoughts Littler fired back, averaging over 105 to see off Rock and book his spot in the semi-finals.

Littler’s demeanour was different after the interval, winning seven straight legs to pull clear of Rock and canter to a 16-12 victory.
