BEL AIR — Charis Burge clutched the MPSSAA runner-up plaque as she and her Urbana volleyball teammates stood side by side on the court and watched Broadneck players receive their state champion hardware.

"I was just like, 'Bummer.' I mean I was getting flashbacks from when I won states my freshman year, and I miss that feeling," the senior setter said. "And seeing Broadneck have that feeling was really tough. But I was also very grateful, reflecting on my time here."
