Some things are inevitable.
Camden Catholic and Oak Knoll are two of those things. The two premier Non-Public field hockey programs understand that they'll most likely meet on NJSIAA Field Hockey Championship Saturday each November. Still, they meet at least once almost every year.
A constant, unchanging measuring stick for each other.
This year was no different, the Royals beat Camden Catholic 5-0 to claim their second straight state title, dating back to the last time the Irish accomplished the feat.
"It's very hard to play them," Irish junior Sophia Stazi said. "I mean, they're an amazing team, and we know that. Going into this game, we know that we lost twice, but we kept our heads high. We didn't expect this ending. It's obviously an ending nobody wants but I think you learn most
