A mock Assembly meeting received a proverbial eye full as Fairbanks resident Debbie Bayer “streaked” through the Mona Drexler Assembly Chambers at the Juanita Helms Administration Center on Wednesday.
Bayer “streaked” while wearing a flesh-colored body suit right after providing testimony in support of a mock resolution proclaiming “National Streak Week,” something a fresh cohort was set to consider.
“Streaking should be allowed,” Bayer said. “It started back in 1973 and who doesn’t want to return to the good ol’ days ... it would be a benefit to the community having a little light-hearted fun.”
