A Tulsa-based Cherokee filmmaker and film executive played a pivotal part in ensuring that Ken Burns' eagerly awaited docuseries "The American Revolution" authentically represents Indigenous people.
Jennifer "Jen" Loren , senior director for Cherokee Film , served as an adviser on Burns' latest project, helping to make sure that Indigenous voices and histories were faithfully presented in the anticipated 12-hour documentary series.
