A protest was held in the Gorbals after a child's foot was run over by a car.

Pupils and parents of St Francis Primary School took to the streets earlier this month to raise awareness of drivers ignoring the school exclusion zone. The exclusion zone restricts vehicle access to streets outside of schools during the start and end of the day to ensure kids can get home safely without worrying about traffic.

However, mum Emily Reid has told how drivers, including some parents, have ignored the signs. Leaving one pupil with a sore foot after it was run over by a car.
