WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman Brad Finstad announced significant federal funding for two key projects in Southeastern Minnesota.
The City of Spring Grove received $1.5 million for a new fire station. This funding aims to enhance fire and rescue services.
"Investing in critical infrastructure strengthens the safety and resilience of our communities," Finstad said, emphasizing the importance of supporting first responders.
Additionally, Gundersen St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Wabasha was awarded more than $1.6 million. This funding will expand the hospital's facilities by up to 18,000 square feet, adding services such as physical and occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, and a retail pharmacy.
