JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) is asking the public for help following a deadly hit-and-run early Sunday.
MSHP Troop C posted to social media at around 9:45 a.m., asking the public for help identifying a car involved in a deadly crash that occurred in Jefferson County.
According to the post, at around 7 a.m., troopers were called to Highway 30 and Upper Byrnes Mill Road for a deadly crash involving a pedestrian. The car involved left the scene, but troopers believe the crash happened between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m.
No information about the pedestrian has been released as of the time of this article’s publication.
The vehicle is being searched for and is believed to be a blue 2007-2013 Chevrolet Avalanche, Suburban or Tahoe, with damage to the
