In 2024, it certainly did. For about a week, an annual subscription to the official Disney streaming service was only $2.99 per month. Normally, at the time, the service was priced at $9.99 per month.

A 70% discount on a year of one of the industry’s top streaming platforms is practically a steal.

There is a caveat, however. If Disney+ does offer the deal again, the price of the base subscription has increased by $1, meaning it now costs $10.99 per month. (Although it’s really $12.99, since there’s no point in signing up without the Hulu bundle .)
