In March 2023, Sushmita Sen shocked fans when she revealed she had suffered a heart attack. The incident came during a period of intense physical training for Sen’s acclaimed web series, Aarya. She suffered a massive heart attack due to 95 per cent of her arteries being blocked. Doctors performed an angioplasty, placing a stent to restore proper blood flow.
