TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - 35-year-old Adrian Avalos was killed after a sedan sideswiped his vehicle the night of Nov. 14, 2025.
Tucson Police and Tucson Fire paramedics responded to a collision reported at the 500 block of Speedway Blvd, near Main Ave, where Avalos was soon after pronounced dead.
According to the TPD, Avalos’s vehicle broke down in the eastbound lanes of Speedway Blvd and was maneuvered into the curb lane. Alongside two people known to Avalos and a good Samaritan, they began pushing the vehicle down the curb lane, with Avalos positioned at the driver’s door.
An as-of-yet unnamed 72-year-old driver was speeding in the median lane of Speedway Blvd when his sedan drifted into the curb lane, killing Avalos, and sideswiping his vehicle such that it shifted and hit the other
