In a first, Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has decided to establish a sub-committee to address students’ complaints during the admission process. Ensuring speedy grievance redressal, this committee will take a decision within 15 days after a candidate submits any complaint.

The state CET Cell made the announcement via a notification issued in this regard stating that this sub-committee is established under the provisions of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015 which empowers the CET Cell to conduct entrance examinations and centralised admission processes (CAP) for various professional courses.
