Parts of the Greater Toronto Area, especially areas north of the city, are under winter weather travel advisories to start off the week.

But areas further north toward Georgian Bay and Barrie will see even more wintry weather as Environment Canada issues snow squall warnings until Monday.

Residents of Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Pickering, Oshawa and the Southern Durham region will see accumulation between five to 10 centimetres, Environment Canada says, with the lake effect snowfall off of Georgian Bay beginning late Sunday afternoon and through Monday morning.
