Montreal Canadiens

Kirby Dach will be out 4-6 weeks with a broken foot, the Canadiens announced Sunday. The forward had one shot on goal in 14:43 of a 3-2 loss to the Boston Bruins in Montreal on Saturday. Dach has seven points (five goals, two assists) in 15 games this season but has played 132 games since the start of 2022-23 because of injury. Joshua Roy was recalled from Laval of the American Hockey League and will join the Canadiens for their game at the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday (7:30 p.m. ET; FDSNOH, Prime, RDS)

Nick Foligno could be out four weeks after injuring his left hand in a 3-2 win against the Toronto Maple Leafs at United Center on Saturday. The Blackhawk
