An NFL star is fighting for his life after he was involved in a shooting in New York. ‌

New York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd was shot and critically wounded in Midtown on Sunday morning - and he remains in critical condition at Bellevue Hospital. ‌

According to police, the shooting took place at around 2am on West 38th Street near Seventh Avenue. And the New York Post are now reporting the individual shot was the 29-year-old. ‌

The shooting is said to have occurred after a verbal dispute escalated, eyewitnesses told CBS New York. There have been no arrests so far as police investigate th
