UFC 322 was supposed to kick off with the usual hype inside Madison Square Garden but things took a different turn before the action could even get underway.

Dillon Danis is noted for his association with Conor McGregor and penchant for causing controversy, became embroiled in an unexpected fight with members of Islam Makhachev’s corner. The incident occurred prior to the beginning of the main card and quickly overshadowed any interest in the event itself.

Dana White Draws bans Danis

Following the event, Dana White stated that Danis is no longer welcome to attend any future UFC events. White acknowledged that he did permit Danis to continue staying in the facility despite multiple reports of him drifting into rows of reserved seats and trying to provoke a response.
