Ready for some more bad injury news about the Canadiens?
The team announced Sunday morning that forward Kirby Dach will be sidelined four to six weeks after suffering a fractured right foot in Saturday night’s 3-2 loss to the Boston Bruins at the Bell Centre.
It was the third straight loss for the Canadiens, who saw their record fall to 10-6-2. They dropped to second place in the Atlantic Division, two points behind the Bruins.
On Friday, Canadiens forward Alex Newhook had surgery on a fractured right ankle suffered in Thursday night’s 7-0 loss to the Dallas Stars . Defenceman Kaiden Guhle had surgery to repair a partially torn adductor muscle on Thursday and will miss eight to 10 weeks. Guhle was injured on Oct. 16 and has played only five games this season.
