Red Earth Creek RCMP are on the hunt for three armed robbery suspects who stole multiple firearms from a store in Red Earth Creek Saturday night and fired shots at a civilian in the area.

At around 12:30 p.m., officers were called to the area after reports of an armed robbery at a business on Blue Sky Road, police said in a Saturday news release. Multiple firearms were stolen during the robbery and while the bandits were fleeing the scene police said they fired shots at a civilian who happened to be in the area.  The three suspects escaped in a truck.

Police were unable to locate the suspects or the vehicle at the time, but were notified of several sightings of the suspected truck at 6 p.m. later that evening. At 8:15 p.m., officers were able to locate the vehicle and the three suspects
