Alexander Isak has opened up on his injury frustrations following his troublesome start to the season.

Isak missed almost all of Newcastle’s pre-season preparations after going on strike to force a move to Anfield.

As a result, the 26-year-old has struggled to impose himself on the Premier League champions.

Isak’s slow start to his new surroundings have seen the usually reliable striker score just once in his first eight appearances for the club.
